CHIRAC WALKS WITH COFFIN OF ALEXANDRE DUMAS.
French President Jacques Chirac follows the coffin of French author
Alexandre Dumas carried by six Republican Guards into the Pantheon,
where French luminaries are interred November 30, 2002. Dumas' remains
were transfered to the Pantheon on Saturday, after President Jacques
Chirac's decision last spring, calling Dumas one of France's "most
turbulent children, one of its most talented and on of its most
creative genuises.". The author of "The Man in the Iron Mask" and "The
Three Musketeers" died in Normandy in 1870. REUTERS/POOL/Jacques
