Colonna, who was arrested on Friday at a sheep barn in the south of
Corsica, is a top suspect in the murder five years ago of Prefect
Claude Erignac, France's highest official on the French Mediterranean
island of Corsica. The arrest was made two days before a referendum in
Corsica on greater autonomy and during the trial in Paris of eight
Corsican nationalists accused of complicity in the murder of Prefect
