Rajavi, detained in France over possible links with terrorism, salutes
her supporters after her release from jail, July 3, 2003. Rajavi, head
of the National Council of resistance of Iran (NCRI), was arrested on
June 17, 2003 in a French crackdown of Iran's largest armed opposition
group that sparked protests among its supporters throughout Europe.
