Workers harvest grapes at night in the Beaujolais region late Tuesday September 28. Vineyard owner Frenchman Francois Tournassus (not seen) experiments with this first nocturne harvest of hail-damaged vineyards to overcome problems of a daylight harvest under higher air temperatures which often causes molding of grapes. [The light globes are made by a French company in Grenoble and are the same used for the film 'Titanic'. ]
