The trial of a prostitution ring in Outreau, northern France, caused an uproar last year when a court convicted 10 of 17 defendants even though the main accuser had withdrawn her charges against most of them. The last five men and a women who were still accused were cleared on December 2 and all were invited to meet with the Prime Minister Villepin on Tuesday.
