FRENCH RESCUERS IN ACTION AT THE CAVE OF GRAMAT SEARCHING FOR MISSING POTHOLERS.
Gendarmes look at rescuers drilling a new man-size hole from the surface through 70 metres (230 ft) of rock to try to get direct access to the cavern where seven potholers have been missing for nine days at Gramat southwestern France November 20. The potholers were trapped as floods swept southwestern France killing 31 people.
