PARIS MILLENNIUM WHEEL OWNER MARCEL CAMPION STANDS WITH FAIRGROUND
WORKERS IN PARIS DURING SMALL PROTEST....
Marcel Campion (C), owner of the giant Millennium Wheel, smiles as he
holds a Paris sign as he stands with fairground workers with signs from
cities around France who lend their support in Paris January 14, 2002.
Campion has opened his ferris wheel for business, ignoring the risk of
fines of 15,000 euros ($13,400) a day, after the city's Socialist mayor
secured a court order that the wheel at the Place de la Concorde be
dismantled saying it was illegally occupying a historic monument site.
