A member of the ONF (French Forestry commission) displays a sea bird, a
Guillemot, covered by fuel oil on the Atlantic coastal beach of Cap
Ferret, January 4, 2003. Police, firefighters and troops began a major
clean-up operation after large patches of fuel oil from the sunken
tanker Prestige washed up on popular beaches in southwest France.
