A carnival reveller swings around a long wooden stick and performs a vault - the so-called “Fools Jump” - during the traditional folklore “Narrensprung” (“Fools’ Procession”) on Rose Monday in the Black Forrest town of Rottweil in south-western Germany March 3, 2014. The “Narrensprung” dating back to the early 14th century, is part of the Swabian-Alemannic “Fastnacht”. Some 3500 participants dressed in their handmade costumes and wooden masks perform their precarious vaults across the cobblestones of the medieval town of Rottweil during the annual procession.
