relics of its communist past, and one of the eeriest is the Spreepark, where the remains of what was once East Germany's
only amusement park still stand. But the park recently sprang to life when a small part was reopened to the public in July, with a cafe serving cakes and drinks and a couple of old rides running, drawing nostalgic visitors on the search for the park's past.
