An illuminated sign is seen in front of a house decorated for Christmas in the village of Calle
An illuminated sign that says "Merry Christmas" is seen in front of a decorated house in the village of Calle, south of the northern German city of Bremen, December 2, 2014. Ralf Vogt, the 66 year-old owner of the so-called "Lichterhaus" (lights house) began decorating his house in early March this year. The power consumption of the some 450,000 Christmas lights comes up to 2,500 Euros (about $3,000) per its four-week season in December. Vogt started his tradition in the year 2000 with only 1,200 lights, following a vacation to the U.S. REUTERS/Wolfgang Rattay (GERMANY - Tags: SOCIETY)
