Police guard the house of the former mother-in-law of Russian businessman Dimitry Kovtun in the northern German village of Haselau December 9, 2006. German police have found traces of radiation in two buildings in Hamburg and a house near Hamburg linked to a Russian businessman who met the murdered ex-spy Alexander Litvinenko on the day he fell ill, a spokeswoman said on Saturday. Radiation traces were found overnight in an apartment in the northern German city of Hamburg belonging to the ex-wife of Russian businessman Dimitry Kovtun, who met Litvinenko in a London bar and who is also now in hospital.
