Pieces of disused Catholic song and prayer books called 'Gotteslob' are used to make a bench, at 'KJF Werkstaetten gemeinnuetzige GmbH', workshop for the handicapped in Straubing, December 15, 2014. About 2500 books arrived at the workshop in the last four weeks after nationwide book replacements in the Catholic church. A bench that seats three is made from 38 books, which will be given back to the churches. Bernhard Widmann, of the parish local council St. Stephan, took inspiration for the idea from Austrian artist Josef Pfeiffer. Picture taken December 15, 2014.
