GERMAN CHANCELLOR SCHROEDER GESTURES IN LEIPZIG.
German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder gestures as he delivers his speech during the opening of an exhibition to remember the 10th anniversary of the so-called Monday marches, a public protest against the tyrannical East German communist regime in the city centre of the former East German town of Leipzig October 9. The slogan reads "Germany unite fatherland". The Monday marches forced communist dictator Erich Honecker from power and brought down the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989.
