HELICOPTER FLIES OVER AIR-FILLED BEER GLASSES SCULPTURES IN
NORTHERN GERMANY.
A helicopter flies above air-filled beer glass sculptures at a barley field
in Wittingen some 90 kilometres north-east of Hanover July 10, 2003. The
floating beer glasses are a promotion to advertise more than 5,000 different
German beer varieties brewed from about 1,200 breweries in accordance with
the German beer purity law (Reinheitsgebot). The 1516 law only allows four
ingredients in the beverage: water, hops, barley, and yeast. PP03070061
