FORMER NAZI SS GUARD ANTON MALLOTH AWAITS HIS TRIAL IN A MUNICH COURTROOM.
Former Nazi SS guard Anton Malloth (C), accused of taking part in the murder of more than 700 Jews in a Second World War concentration camp and also accused of three counts of murder and one of attempted murder, enters a Munich courtroom escorted by two policemen, April 23, 2001. Prosecutors say ex-SS company leader Anton Malloth, 89, sadistically killed two inmates at the Theresienstadt camp in Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia in January 1944 by training a powerful jet of water at their naked bodies for half an hour.
