Group of people rescued from Shining Path rebels sit at Mazamari military base in the Amazon province of Satipo, Peru, August 1, 2015. Peruvian special forces rescued another 7 children and 8 men and women on Friday, some of whom had been raped and held captive for three decades, when they made another raid in a southeastern jungle camp of the left-wing Shining Path rebel group. Special forces rescued 36 more people in the same condition in an earlier raid this week, local media reported. The captives, many belonging to the Ashaninka indigenous group, were held in 'production camps' where women and children were forced to work in the fields, Vice Defence Minister Ivan Vega told local reporters earlier this week.
