Kibabu, Sydney's Taronga Zoo's Western Lowland Gorilla, enjoys a piece of cake as he celebrates his 21st birthday May 27. The 230 kilogram undisputed leader of the Zoo's 10 gorilla family, was born in England before moving to Holland to become leader of what is regarded as a model gorilla family. Kibabu and his family arrived at Taronga Zoo in December 1996 and settled in as a central part of the Zoo's contribution to gorilla conservation.
