A group of journalists leave the archaeological site of prehistoric city of Akrotiri at the volcanic cycladic island of Santorini March 27. The city of Akrotiri was buried some 3600 years ago under the pumice and ash ejected in the eruption of the Santorini volcano. Akrotiri is one of the leading archaeological sites of Greece where three-and-four storey buildings are still stand, with their mural decoration and the objects inside them and frequently intact.
