Australian representative of the Organising committee of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Chris Hartcher raises the Olympic torch at the marble Panathenean stadium as he stands next to the President of the Hellenic Olympic committee Lambis Nikolaou during a handing over ceremony of the Olympic flame May 20. The flame started its journey from ancient Olympia and after a ten-day torch relay throughout Greece handed over to Australian representatives who will carry it to Sydney.
