Greek Orthodox priest Apostolos Stavropoulos, 41, lights a torch inside a mausoleum, during a torchlight rally on the eve of the 69th anniversary of the Distomo massacre committed by the Nazis during World War Two, in the village of Distomo, about 165 km (103 miles) northwest of Athens June 9, 2013. In the village of Distomo it is impossible to forget the massacre that took place here in June of 1944, everywhere one turns there are monuments of the slaughter of 218 people, including 40 children and infants, by Nazi troops during the Second World War. For those who survived that day the memories are still fresh even after 69 years. Germany paid Greece reparations in the 1960s and said the issue was closed but consecutive governments since have said it was not satisfactory. In April the government announced it will once again pursue the claims. Picture taken June 9, 2013. REUTERS/John Kolesidis (GREECE - Tags: ANNIVERSARY POLITICS CONFLICT RELIGION)
