French food firm [Gibieroy], which is suspected of selling rotten meat after having it "ionized" to kill germs, has said that Griffith carried out the treatment. Griffiths said it worked with [Gibieroy] until 1997, but denies knowledge of any wrong-doing. Ionization is used to sterilise food, and kills pathogenic germs like salmonella.
