A nun walks past Italian police guarding an entrance to Piazza de
Ferrari in Genoa July 17, 2001 before the start of the G8 summit which
starts later this week. Security is tight after weeks of preparation to
ensure the safety of leaders from the USA, Russia, Japan, Germany,
France, Britain, Italy and Canada.
