Women sit on a kerb during the international day against "forced disappearances", in Guatemala City June 21, 2011. Guatemala will mark the international day against "forced disappearances", a term used when people disappear after being arrested by authorities during the armed conflict in the years of 1960-1996 in Guatemala, on June 21. A public center will be opened this week to allow access to 12,287 military operation documents made during the armed conflict which left 250,000 dead, including 45,000 disappearances, according to local media.
