, shows veins which are visible on her arm at the infant nephrology ward of the Roosevelt hospital in Guatemala City October 30, 2012. According to hospital authorities, the infant nephrology ward of the Roosevelt hospital, which was inaugurated in April 2011, provides treatment for around 1500 patients in a year. The ward can provide hemodialysis treatment for 24 patients and peritoneal dialysis for 70 patients. A total of 32 kidney transplants have been performed at this ward.
