Catalina Garcia, 55, piggybacks her son Gilson, a 30-year-old suffering from cerebral palsy, as they make their way to beg at the Mercado la Terminal market in Guatemala City November 28, 2012. Both mother and son are now living in a guest house after they were evicted a few days ago from the irregular settlement where they had been living at with other families. Catalina said she was originally from Coatepeque, in the north of the country, and came to the city six months ago to find a better life. Catalina would piggyback her son, who has lost his ability to walk since young, as she begs for money from people at markets, streets and while travelling on buses.
