An injured gang member (L) is helped by a fellow inmate after a prison riot in Escuintla, Guatemala, August 18, 2005. Several members of the "Mara 18" youth gang rioted as they were about to be transferred to another facility. This incident took place three days after violence in six Guatemalan prisons left 33 inmates dead and over 50 injured. Authorities fear that the violence could mean the end to truce between several youth gangs, bringing even more violence inside as well as outside the prisons. REUTERS/Daniel LeClair DNL/PN
