Juan Pablo Rios listens to his sentence in Guatemala's first ever racism trail.
Juan Pablo Rios, grandson of former dictator Efrain Rios Montt, listens to his sentence in Guatemala's first ever racism trial April 4, 2005 in Guatemala City. Rios and four women were found guilty of racial discrimination and disturbing the peace for shouting racial slurs against Maya Indian and Nobel Prize winner Rigoberta Menchu. Each of the five were sentenced to 3 years and two months in prison and a $400 fine. They can avoid prison by paying around $10 for each day of jail time. REUTERS/Daniel LeClair DNL
