Roosters fight during a cockfighting match in an area outside Port-au-Prince
Roosters fight during a cockfighting match in an area outside Port-au-Prince February 5, 2013. Cockfights are arranged between roosters according to their weight, claw length and fighting track record. A standard cockfight lasts for a maximum of 29 minutes, during which a rooster wins if its opponent dies, fails to get up after falling over or runs away. Fighting roosters are either raised by their owners or bought from breeders for as much as $1,000, depending on their size, skill and weight. REUTERS/Swoan Parker (HAITI - Tags: ANIMALS SOCIETY)
