BODIES LIE IN A MORGUE IN GONAIVES, HAITI.
Bodies lie in a morgue in the city of Gonaives because relatives refuse to pick them up out of fear of an armed revolt February 14, 2004. Some of the bodies are those of civilians residents say were shot by police. The rebellion against President Jean-Bertrand Aristide broke out more than a week ago in Gonaives, some 70 miles north of Port-au-Prince, and then spread to other towns. Up to 50 people have been killed and Gonaives remains in the hands of the rebels. REUTERS/Daniel Aguilar DA
