An ethnic Albanian villager passes near holes in an area where ammunition made with depleted uranium was used near Radonjic Lake in Western Kosovo on January 10, 2001. European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana called on Wednesday for an investigation into the possible effects of munitions containing depleted uranium used by NATO in the Balkans.
