Albertina Rodriguez holds a photo of her son Carlos during a prayer
ceremony at a former military air base in Aguacate, Honduras August 30,
2001. Rodriguez suspects her son was murdered for political porposes
and has been searching for his remains for 15 years. Forensic experts
search for as many as 40 bodies that may be buried at the site, which
was a secret airbase for the Contras during the 1980s. The Honduran
government, in an effort to find and identify the remains of people who
disappeared during the era, has asked for the help of four Guatemalan
