NUNS PASS OPEN TOMBS OF MISSING REBEL FIGHTERS IN HONDURAS.
Two catholic nuns walk past graves being excavated at a former military
air base in Aguacate, Honduras, August 30, 2001. Human rights activists
held a prayer ceremony at the site, which was a secret airbase for the
Contras in the 1980s, as forensic experts search for as many as 40
bodies that may be buried there. The Honduran government, in an effort
to find and identify the remains of people who disappeared during the
era, has asked for the help of four Guatemalan experts. Picture taken
