Members of the controversial Falun Gong spiritual movement begin the
third day of a hunger strike outside the Chinese Liason Office in Hong
Kong August 27, 2001 to protest against the imprisonment of followers
in mainland China. The 10 followers were briefly detained on Saturday
for obstructing the entrance to Beijing's representative Liaison Office
in the territory, the first time members of the movement have been
arrested in Hong Kong.
