Hirofumi Nakajima holds his trophy and a tray of 19 hot dogs, the number he had to eat in 12 minutes to win his third straight at the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest at Nathan's on Coney Island in New York, July 4. Nakajima, 23, is a 5' 6" noodle-eating champion from Kofu, Japan, who set the World Hot Dog Eating record last July 4th at the same contest by eating 24 & 1/2 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes.
