An veterinarian makes notes while examining elephants at a health camp
on the outskirts of Jaipur, capital of the northern state of Rajasthan,
August 22, 2001. Nearly 100 Indian elephants, working in and around
India's tourist sites and suffering from long working hours, are to be
given four days of health checks.
