HINDU WORSHIPPERS WEAR TRADITIONAL ROBES IN ALLAHABAD.
Young Hindu worshippers wear traditional golden robes of their sect during a ceremony on the banks of the holy Ganges River in Allahabad on February 8, 2001 during one of the most auspicious days in the Maha Kumbh Mela festival called Maghi Poornima. Tens of millions of Hindus are gathering over a six week period to bathe in the Holy waters of the Ganges at the festival which is held only once every 12 years.
