A Congress Party activist, draped in the Indian tri-colour flag, has his head shaved in New Delhi July 14. Party activists got their head shaved as a mark of respect for the soldiers who died during battles against Pakistan-backed intruders in Indian side of Kashmir. According to Hindu ritual, only near relatives of a dead person have their heads shaved to show their personal loss.
