An activist of a Hindu nationalist group carries an effigy of Pakistani
President Pervez Musharraf during a demonstration in New Delhi, July
13, 2001. Some 100 saffron-scarved activists were protesting Pakistan's
contradictory stand on the meeting between Musharraf and the Hurriyat
(Freedom) Conference, an umbrella body of Kashmiri groups demanding
independence for the disputed region.
