Indian railways officials stand on the front of the famed "toy train" as it runs on the two-foot wide narrow guage track in the Himalayan town of Darjeeling November 26, 2000. Visitors, led by Indian railway [minister Mamata Banarjee], celebrate on Sunday the railway's first year as a UNESCO heritage site. The train, still running on its indigenous steam engine from New Jalpaiguri to the tea-growing hill station of Darjeeling, was built by India's British colonial master in 1881.
