Kamalvathi, 2, a survivor of Sunday's devastating tsunamis is admitted to a hospital for leg injuries in Cuddalore, about 180 km (112 miles) south of the Indian city of Madras December 30, 2004. Kamalavathi was alone in her house in Devinampatnam in Cuddalore when tsunamis stuck. Her father, Anbarasan, a fisherman, was at sea and her mother, Kalai Selvi, was in the town. Both parents survived.
