A Rajasthani man painted in blue sits by the roadside during the annual
Pushkar Fair in the desert town of Pushkar, in Rajasthan state some 320
km (200 miles) southwest of New Delhi, November 17, 2002. Hundreds of
thousands of camels, horses and cattle are sold during the fair, which
has become a popular tourist event. The United States and Britain
warned their citizens on Wednesday to avoid a camel bazaar in western
