Members of the Indian National Cadet Corps (NCC) shout during as they
form an honour guard to mark the 54th anniversary of the creation of
the NCC in the eastern Indian city of Calcutta on November 24, 2002.
The NCC is the second line of Indian Defence composed of the student
community. With a motto of "Unity and Discipline", the NCC has become
instrumental in moulding children during their school and college
