A CHINESE BOY PUTS THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON A CHINESE DRAGON IN
CALCUTTA.
A Chinese boy puts the finishing touches on a Chinses dragon, to be
used during celebrations for the Chinese New Year, in the eastern
Indian city of Calcutta on February 11, 2002. About 2,000 Chinese have
been living for generations in a small enclave called Tangra, known
locally as Chinatown, on Calcutta's outskirts. The Chinese New Year,
which starts on February 12, has been dubbed the Year of the Horse.
