INDIAN MEMBER OF VHA CHANTS ANTI-TOBACCO SLOGANS IN BANGALORE.
An Indian member of the Voluntary Health Association (VHA), a non-governmental organisation, chants anti-tobacco slogans as he performs during a street play in the southern Indian city of Bangalore May 31, 2004. The play was organised by VHA in Bangalore on Monday to mark World No Tobacco Day. According to World Health Organisation (WHO), not only does tobacco-use kill 4.9 million people each year, but it also contributes to poverty through loss of income, loss of productivity, disease and death.
