SPECIAL FORCES SOLDIER CHECKS HIS PHONE AT INSPECTION CEREMONY IN
JAKARTA.
A Special Forces soldier from the Indonesian Air Force checks his
communication device during an inspection ceremony at a military
airbase in Jakarta on May 5, 2003. The soldiers were part of hundreds
of troops preparing for a military operation in restive Aceh province,
which Jakarta is mulling over after a key peace meeting with rebels
from the Free Aceh Movement was cancelled late last month. The
Indonesian government will decide over the matter in a week.
