Japanese Justice Minister Masahiko Koumura (R) meets Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid at the presidential palace in Jakarta January 9, 2001, before their meeting about the controversy over a recently-banned taste enhancer produced by the local subsidiary of Japan's Ajinomto Coompany. Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country, has arrested several senior local officials of Ajinomoto and sealed its factory and warehouses after ordering the firm to stop selling products using pig enzymes, which Muslims are forbidden to consume.
