MADURANESE REFUGEES ARRIVE OFF A SHIP IN PONTIANAK PORT.
Indonesian sailors help Maduranese refugees off a ship in the port town of Pontianak late March 22 in West Kalimantan. Ethnic clashes have already killed at least 165 people in the clashes between indigenous Malays and separate ethnic groups from the central island of Madura. Indonesia has been rocked for months by fighting, often between different ethnic and religious groups around its 17,000 islands.
