Rescuers struggled to reach isolated villages on Saturday as the death toll from a powerful earthquake that rocked Indonesia's eastern islands reached 26. The earthquake, which measured 6.5 on the open-ended Richter scale, shook central Sulawesi's coastal town of Luwuk and the neighbouring islands of Peleng and Banggai on Thursday, forcing hundreds of people to flee the area.
