Scuba diver swims at the USAT Liberty wreck at Tulamben, on the Indonesian resort island of Bali
A scuba diver swims at the USAT Liberty wreck at Tulamben, on the Indonesian resort island of Bali May 14, 2011. USAT Liberty, a U.S. transport ship was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in January 1942, and was towed to Bali to be salvaged. Subsequently in 1963, when Mount Agung erupted, the tremors caused the ship to slip off the beach, and she now lies on a sand slope in 9.1 to 30m (30 to 100 feet) of water, providing one of the most popular diving sites in Bali.
